This is more like a 3-in-1. And I dare say the videos is a good part of two ow them. So maby it is a stretch.

Well, I want to share "Umbrella" with you, mostly because I´ve listened to it a lot lately. (But also because I have a personal friendship association to it. <3 )

So, first. The original; Umbrella by Rihanna (Please watch the video. It´s a cute girl with too little clothes on at least.)

Second, the good cover; Umbrella by Lillasyster (The video isn´t important, this is just the best musical version.)

And last, Umbrella by Vanilla Sky (If you haven´t watched the first video, this one becomes just strange and boring. Watch the first one first!)

'Cos I feel like sharin', even if you might not want to hear it...

1) Tarot - I Walk Forever
Got their new album coming up soonish, been listening to this one quite a bit. There's a horrible yet awesomeness wrongness in the world when two of the greatest Finnish metal vocalists are both in the *same* band.

2) Mastodon - Oblivion
Been listening to Mastodon quite a bit lately, following the announcement that they'd be one of the major acts at Tuska festival the coming summer (where Devin Townsend will be playing two(!) shows).

3) Fear Factory - Christploitation
Yeah, it's aggressive, brutal and not particularly easy listening, but it's still utterly awesome. Was glad that after all the crap surrounding the band and some less-than-stellar albums, they still managed to produce something that kicks arse.

He's playing two shows on Tuska Open Air Metal Festival. First one on friday 2nd of July is world exclusive Ziltoid the Omniscient -musical which will include the full Ziltoid the Omniscient -album with choirs, orchestras, props, puppets, coffee and all that stuff. Then on the next day, saturday 3rd, he's playing a normal festival gig-set.

Pretty much perfect setup, if you ask me. The whole Ziltoid-set sounds awesome, but if he had only played that one in Finland, I'd have been gutted, since lets face it: Ziltoid is good, but nowhere close to being his best piece of work. So I'd have missed the opportunity to see him play material from his other albums. But this way, we get both, Ziltoid and normal gig, and even on the same festival so no need to go around buying tickets and such for separate gigs.

Now, that'd be awesome :p Tickets come for sale on monday, no idea how fast they'll be going. It always depends on band-selection which is pretty damn strong this year.

My latest love. Conveniently, they have released 3 songs on their myspace so that takes care of it all.

Tuliterä - Alpha Blade, Jagat, and All-seeing Delirium

Here are three Norwegian bands that I've been listening to lately.

Girl punk from far far far far Northern Norway - Cyaneed
http://www.myspace.com/cyaneede
My favs are "Status" and "Tonight"

Ska-Punk from Bergen. These guys were seriously awesome live -Mollygogo
http://www.nrk.no/urort/Artist/mollygogo/default.aspx
Listen to "Idaho". Try to listen to the verses if you have a stomach for it, and roar along to the chorus.

Reggea-soul from Bergen. Bet you didn't see that one coming! -The Soul Express Orchestra
http://www.myspace.com/thesoulexpressorchestra
My favs are "Keep Your Head" and "Come".

I dunno if anyone even follows this forum anyway, but none-the-less I just have to share this metal band I caught on gig with Blaze Bayley week back. They sounded very good there and now I finally got around to checking them on myspace. And they are... awesome...

Thanks Tiar. Oh, and I have been listening to those three Tuliterä tracks for the last four weeks. They just released a new album, and so there's tow new tracks on their myspace. It is indeed very awesome.

Indeed! Got it few days back and been listening it quite a bit. Tho' new EP, not album, they say it's more of a "side-work" for the time being. They're still working on the full length album to come out "when it's done."

Now, since you like Tuliterä, I can't help wondering whether you know a band called Ozric Tentacles? It's every bit as awesome as Tuliterä, but not really metal.

Few songs (although listing single songs from Ozric Tentacles isn't generally the way to do it, it's more of a band where you put an album on and then let it take you places):

Magick Valley
Hidden Step
Spacebase

Can find good amount more of their stuff in Spotify, if you're interested and if you use the thing (can't think why you wouldn't tho).
